AIRPORT ARRIVAL

July 5th 
As we will be departing from Des Moines with United Airlines as a group, we are required to arrive 90 min. before our departure time. To accommodate all time requirements and emotional good-byes, we will be stick to the schedule shown below:

• Meet at church       7:00am
• Leave church         7:30am
• Arrive at airport     8:00am
• Depart on flight     9:30am

We will have 30 min. at church to say farewells to those who come to see us off. If family members would like, they may go with us to the airport since we will most likely have waiting time there as well.

At this point, we will need to gather volunteers to drive our group to the airport. I assume we will use the church van and other large vehicles to transport our group to the airport.

Note: Our group MUST meet at church.

EXTRA CHECK-IN INFORMATION

Des Moines Airport (DSM) (for United)

• Ticket counter hours of operation: 5:00am-7:00pm
• Customers with checked baggage should arrive 90 minutes before flight departure (2 hours if traveling internationally)
• All customers must check-in before entering security 
• Security line information
  • Peak Times: 5:00am-7:00am
  • Peak Days: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 
  • Peak line wait: 60 minutes
  • Off-peak line wait: 20 minutes

 Denver International Airport (DEN) (for Mexicana)

• Ticket counter hours of operation: 4:15am-8:30pm
• Customers with checked baggage should arrive 90 minutes before flight departure (2 hours if traveling internationally)
• For customers with Domestic e-tickets, boarding passes are available at curbside.
• Security line information
  • Peak Times: 7:00-10:30am, 2:30-6:00pm
  • Peak Days: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday
  • Peak line wait: 20-40 minutes
  • Off-peak line wait: 0-5 minutes
• Priority Security Lane available for Global Services, United First, United Business, 1K, Premier Executive, Premier and STAR Alliance Gold/Silver members .

For international flights passengers must be at Mexicana's Airport counter for check-in at least (3) hours prior departure.

For domestic flights passengers must be at Mexicana's Airport counter for check-in at least (2) hours prior departure.

If passengers fails to check-in and obtain a boarding pass within the established time, reservations and seat assignments are subject to cancellation without previous notice. Passengers may check-in as soon as they arrive at the airport as long as their itinerary is for the same day.

For passengers pre-check-in by the travel agencies or by Mexicana Sales Offices the following applies:

Passengers holding a boarding pass for a domestic flight with no checked luggage must be a the last boarding gate at least 30 minutes before schedule departure time and must contact a Mexicana representative.

Passengers traveling with luggage are required to check-in at the counter 60 minutes prior to flight departure.

And in both cases passengers must be at the boarding gate 30 minutes before schedule departure time.
